Cooking Recipe

Here is a simple recipe for pandan chicken:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 8 pandan leaves, bruised
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, soy sauce, rice vinegar, water, honey, ginger, turmeric, and pandan leaves. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and marinade and cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Serve over rice or noodles.

Allergens

Pandan leaves are generally considered to be safe for most people. However, people with allergies to other tropical plants, such as pineapples or bananas, may also be allergic to pandan leaves.
