Galia melon is a hybrid melon developed in Israel in the 1970s. It is a cross between a cantaloupe and a honeydew melon, and has the best qualities of both. Galia melons are sweet, juicy, and have a delicate, creamy texture. They are also a good source of vitamins A and C, potassium, and dietary fiber.
