Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Wash and cut the Big Bitter Gourd into cubes.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the garlic, ginger, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute more.
  5. Add the Big Bitter Gourd and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the Big Bitter Gourd is tender.
  6. Serve hot.
